We stayed 3 nights at the Bellevue, Washington location and from our arrival I wasn't feeling very good about what to expect. The main lobby was dark and the main elevator in the lobby area needed to be vacuumed. The staff told us for housekeeping services we have to let the front desk know. When we arrived to our room, it was small to include a tiny fridge on the floor and the microwave on top of it. The room was not up to date. One night stand/table didn't even have a lamp nor any USB charging ports, only on the other night stand/table. The bed was so soft and shaky like we were on a water bed. The bathroom is old school with a tub and very low shower head. The worst part is there are no grab bars. The only spot that was probably upgraded was the wash sink and closet. Even that I can see they pulled off the wall paper but left some exposed above the sink. The mirror lighting is not bright enough for shaving or putting on make up. Also, there wasn't a luggage rack, unless we needed ask but no mention of this from the front desk staff. On a positive note, it's a convenient location with the link across the intersection, a Chick-fi-la, Woods Coffee, and a Polynesian Grill and Bar connected to the hotel. AWhole Foods, Kaiser Permenente, and Overlake Medical Center Multicare. I was very disappointed with our room.

I stayed here because I had an early meeting nearby and didn't want to deal with 405 traffic coming from 40-ish miles away. Location is great; service was friendly; room was clean but bathroom had mold; property in general looks a bit tired; multiple "park at own risk" signs outside were a bit disquieting; price was good. The hotel seems to attract a younger clientele, so it's odd that they still serve up amenities in little plastic containers, with no bar soap option, so in the sustainability category they get a big red X.

The staff was wonderful. I was thankful the pool was open: my husband and daughter were able to swim while I was in the hospital. We chose Hotel 116 because of how near it was to Overlake. Staff worked with us on our stay. We came a night early; and they have us a late checkout (which we ended up not needing). But, it was there if needed it. The rooms need lights. At least ours did. There was no overhead lights on the ceilings. Only 4 small lamps. And, our king size bed was saggy in the middle and floppy on the sides.

My husband and I had an amazing experience here!! One of our best stays and we travel quite a bit, they were so kind, have a couple gifts which was incredibly sweet, housekeeping was great, provided us with everything we asked, the front desk was wonderful as well, very professional and friendly!! It was our home for 5 days and we will definitely be coming back! Location was also great, close by to pretty much everything, driving and walking distance, the room itself was beautiful, a loft style room, very spacious, clean and all amenities worked perfectly, couldn’t have asked for a better stay!

My husband and I always stay at Hotel 116 whenever we are in the area. The staff is amazing. The front desk employees are kind, helpful and knowledgeable about the area. They always go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and to make your stay wonderful. The lobby is very warm and inviting. The rooms are always very clean, and they have a great layout with plenty of storage space to feel right at home. They are located within walking distance to the light rail for an easy trip into Seattle. We strongly recommend Hotel 116.

Rooms are very clean and hotel staff is very helpful. Location of hotel is premier for what we came to do. Would definitely stay again. Only concern is the room key issue. Keys are very sensitive. We were locked out of our room several time since the key cannot touch almost anything. Should make a protective sleeve to prevent this issue. Other than that, hotel staff made sure we had what we needed. All in all, great spot. Would definitely recommend.

The accommodations were moderate but sufficient. Service was excellent, staff very helpful and friendly. Room was clean. I requested an additional vacuum because I’m really picky about clean floors. The price and location was excellent for this trip.

Final Update: Management has since reached out to apologize and clarify their previous response. They acknowledged that I did report the noise during my stay and that their attempt to resolve it was insufficient. They also confirmed they are now reviewing the lobby air pressure and HVAC issues I brought to their attention. As a result, they have comped the entire stay. I appreciate the professional follow-up and the refund, though I hope the mechanical improvements are prioritized for the comfort of future guests. ----------------- I am updating this because the hotel's response claims they were "unaware" of these issues. This is incorrect. The noise from the adjoining room was reported to the front desk in real-time; while it stopped briefly, it resumed shortly after, indicating a failure in management to actually resolve the disturbance. Regarding the air quality: the heavy perfume in the lobby and elevators is a clear attempt to mask the smoke odor pulled in by the building's lack of positive air pressure at the entrance. This is a structural HVAC issue, not a housekeeping oversight. As a repeat guest of Coast Hotels in BC, I am disappointed by the lack of standards here. Even your own staff acknowledged during my stay that the Canadian properties are of a much higher quality than the Bellevue location. I expected better brand consistency and a more honest engagement with guest feedback. ----------------- I had a very disappointing stay here due to several significant issues. The most concerning was the air quality; the entire hotel, including the lobby, hallways, and elevators, smelled strongly of cigarette smoke masked by heavy perfumes. As someone sensitive to air quality, this caused me actual respiratory issues during my stay. Sleep was nearly impossible as well. The occupant in the adjoining room blasted music with heavy bass and high-pitched tones until 1:00 AM. Furthermore, the in-room air conditioning unit was extremely loud and sounded as if it were suffering from a mechanical failure. Between the noise and the poor air quality, I cannot recommend this hotel.

2nd time staying there. Both times were amazing. The front desk staff as well as the maids are extremely polite and made my stay very enjoyable. Thank you so much 116 as well as the dining and bar that is connected (Pacifica). Another terrific place that is very family friendly! Love you guys!!

I have stayed here in the past. I have been happy each time. The staff is helpful and friendly. The rooms are a bit dated but very clean and tidy! I was in a room towards the front of the hotel & I noticed it was a little more noisy. Ho estoy it seemed like cars were racing down that road late at night. That is NOT the hotels fault.
