The Hampton Inn & Suites Bellevue Downtown-Seattle generally offers spacious rooms, a high-quality breakfast, and a prime location near shopping and dining, though recent safety issues have caused some guests concern.
This was one of the coziest hotels we've stayed in while visiting in Bellevue. The young manager working the front desk helped us check in to a comfortable and accessible room. He upgraded us at no extra cost and gave us what felt like the VIP treatment. They had a wheelchair for us to use while staying there, breakfast was free with many options to choose from, and right across the way there was a shopping center where we could take our grandkids for the evening. The staff was really friendly and made the experiance enjoyable.
Great location right off the freeway. Great staff. Rachel was awesome. Close to (walking distance) to multiple restaurants and shopping venues. Able to park my school bus easily. Great coffee and breakfast. Clean and quiet rooms.
If you don't mind walking a few hills, it is within walking distance of Bellevue square mall. A lot of shops and great eateries. Good morning breakfasts served at 7am instead of 6am, but the hotel was close to my work destination. I recommend this hotel.
Good place to stay a bit far out from Seattle. We stayed in one of the suites and had plenty of space to work remotely. The breakfast had variety. The hotel is next to a shopping center that includes a Target. It is a bit hard to cross the street to it, no stop signs and alot of traffic on both sides. The parking lot is not that big, sometimes we struggled to find a spot.
Visited in mid October. The location is great. Right across the street there is a Target, pcc, trader Joe's.. Kura revolving sushi restaurant is a fun experience. It's also minutes away from Bellevue Botanical Garden. The room was better than our experience in Seattle downtown. The best part about it here is the complimentary breakfast. They waffle station was a hit for our kids. Our room on the 3rd floor had a clogged sink full of hair and the toilet leaked over night. If we stayed longer than a night that would have been a problem..
Good location and friendly staff, but the pillows were all very obviously stained yellow. Pillow cases appeared clean. I stayed in two different rooms and had the same issue. Using an inner pillow case, like many other hotels, would have at least hidden this (and likely prevented staining in the first place).
All about location here. Very quick commute to downtown Bellevue. Great restaurants too choose from in the area. The parking on the other hand I did not care for. Seemed like not the safest parking lot. Couple cars in the back looked like they were dumped there after someone took them on a joy ride. They did have a nice little grass area for the family dog. Breakfast was decent. The rooms were fine but not great. Our sink wouldn't drain so maintenance had to come fix it, and tons of nasty stuff came out. Housekeepers would have caught this problem if they cleaned and rinsed out the sink. Beds are not very comfy either. And lastly, the AC sucks. The fan is loud. You either get cold air blowing or if not running, stale air in your room. Oh and one other thing, when exiting the elevators to get to our room or became clear that they weren't concerned about vacuuming the area where traffic walks, or wipe the furniture down. That and the carpet was loose which seemed like a tripping hazard. This place has potential but could use some work.
The room was spacious and the rate was reasonable. While there were a couple of minor issues—the TV didn’t connect despite following the instructions, and the bathroom sink drained slowly—it was still a decent place to stay for the night. The complimentary breakfast the next morning was simple, but it met our needs.
Great room for our short stay. They allow dogs which is always a plus in my books. The room was clean and the beds were comfy. They offer a workout room, which I didn't use. The location was perfect also. Close to the freeway for easy jump on and jump off. The breakfast was perfect for a quick bite to give us energy before heading out.
I've stayed here a number of times for business purposes. It's a very simple hotel. The fitness center is equipped with free weights up to 50lbs and there are two benches, a cable machine, some treadmills, a bike, and an elliptical. It's very conveniently located to walk to Trader Joe's or Target for incidentals. I've also walked to Downtown Bellevue without any concerns. Rooms have a small fridge. Downsides: -Can be quite loud if you lose the neighbor lottery (definitely can hear people running upstairs or the shower in an adjacent room). -Hilton Diamond benefits didn't really give me anything. I got the welcome text and asked about it and it was mentioned that I could get a snack, but the front desk did not see my diamond status attached to the room and didn't give me anything. I assume it's a system problem.
