This extended stay hotel offers significant value with large, kitchen-equipped suites in a quiet location near nature trails, but experiences inconsistent housekeeping and significant staffing issues ranging from simple errors to unprofessional conduct.
I definitely recommend this extended stay hotel. The value exceeds the price. The suite color scheme was a bit dated, but it was clean, nice, and included a full kitchenette. The gym and laundry room were also well-kept. Breakfast is simple (yogurt, muffins, juice, cereal, cetc.)
The night audit employee who worked on January 14 and 15 was extremely rude and unprofessional. During check-in, she did not verify my ID, which is concerning. When I requested two rolls of toilet paper, she would only provide one despite having visible supply available. She also stated there was no housekeeping. I have stayed at this property before, but due to this experience, I will not be returning. I also encountered the same employee on January 19 at checkout; she did not greet us and instead looked at us without acknowledging us. Management should review her conduct, professionalism, and customer service standards.
Kind staff, comfy room, and amenities that show a delicate touch. I am very happy with the healthy and varried options for breakfast (fresh fruit including bananas/oranges, as well as chobani yogurt and hard boiled eggs). The rooms aren't the most updated, but they feel homey and well designed. My bed is very comfy, and the sheets were super clean. My room smelled great when I checked in and the bathroom and kitchen were spotless. Staff is sweet, thoughtful, and accommodating.
We stayed here for about 4 months - two adults, one toddler, two large dogs in a King Size one bedroom suite. The rooms were very outdated - leather-top furniture with matching lamps. The lamps were wobbly with shades that seem as if they'll crack at any moment. The bathroom vent didn't work, and the lights over the mirror stopped working. The fridge was noisy at times. The hide-a-bed and it's mattress were terrible, but the couch itself was okay and the TVs both had access to YouTube & Netflix although the wifi was inconsistent at best. There was free laundry and a small but modern gym. Breakfast was included but was the same every day - oatmeal, yogurt, cheese, milk, juice, cereal, bagels, muffins... etc. The kitchenette in our room had brand new, real tile, which was nice. Plenty of closet space and cabinets throughout the room. There was a parking garage on the main floor - it was nice to park somewhere out of the weather. There was a grassy area for dogs to go potty, but no official play area. We brought our dogs behind the building - it was a steep hill with a trail at the top, but it was open and secluded enough to let our dogs off-leash to play some fetch. There was also a nice patio just outside the gym that must've been a pool a long time ago. It was mostly pretty quiet, but we could hear many parties on weekends and could often hear our neighbors talking to each other. Housekeeping did not speak any English and only stopped by once a week or so. The kitchen had a dishwasher but it was small and so was the sink. It was at the end of a dead end road, next to a huge, active church. There was an interesting night life at the hotel. If you bring kids, I wouldn't allow them to explore much. An interesting place overall.
Great stay. Room looks a bit dated. But everything worked just fine. Not much outside noise. Breakfast could have more choices. No drinking water fountain. Water bottles available for purchase. Cookies were tasty.
This hotel was the worst experience I’ve ever had, by far. My boyfriend originally checked us into the room and everything seemed okay before we left to grab some dinner. When we returned to the hotel, we noticed it was a bit on the older side and run down, but overall acceptable enough to stay for the night. Once I was getting into the bed after I did my usual inspection, I noticed a very foul smell when I brought the sheets closer to my face. Come to realize, there was drool on the sheets and comforter from someone else’s previous stay, on top of stains on the pillow cases and sheets. We called the front desk to see if we can get new sheets, but were told that they were all out of clean sheets and only had towels available.. I have never been so disgusted, disturbed and annoyed by anything in life up until that moment. The manager is nowhere to be found and we constantly kept being told that they will be in soon, but never showed. Save your money and DO NOT STAY HERE.
Below average rooms. Location is fine. But buyer be ware... I called ahead as my flight got delayed and couldn't make my first night there. They said they would hold the room, no problem. I arrive the next day and they didn't hold my room and charged me for a "no show." Been trying to get in contact with the manager for 2 months now and no response.
It's not near the town center, but that's probably why the price is good. It is close enough to the highway to get around easily, but far enough that there isn't loud road noise. Rooms are a little dated but everything was clean and in good repair. Breakfast is pretty basic ready-made foods like yogurt, packaged muffins, packaged hardboiled eggs, and some fruit. There was coffee and tea in our room but no creamer. The bathroom is a lot bigger than many hotels and actually had a lot of counter space, which was great. If you plan to use the kitchen, there is a grocery store just down the street from the hotel which is helpful.
This has to be the most disgusting place I’ve ever stayed. It is run down and REALLY dirty. The room smelled like dirty feet, bad curry, and urine. Had to go to the store and get bleach, wipes, and Lysol spray. I cleaned the room but we still only sat in the two leather chairs. Wore slippers throughout the place, never barefoot!! Bed was comfortable. Had to be a new mattress as the box springs were ripped apart and hanging to the ground. Checked in and there were hairs in the tub and throughout the bathroom. Disgusting!! I tried to find another place but they were either too expensive or sold out. Go any other place and save the stress. We counted down the days to the end of our vacation ?
review for room #128: getting off the elevator, the whole 1st floor smelled like cigarettes and the carpet was stained, bleached and dirty. opening the door, our room also smelled like cigarettes. the bathroom was dirty and had pubes all over the floor. the sink had blood on the back of it. the sink drawer was full of hair, dirt and fingernails. the bathroom cabinet was falling apart and had 2 nails sticking out of the bottom. wallpaper was peeling everywhere. the stove was disgusting. the refrigerator had hair in it. the lids for the disposable coffee cups were filthy. asked to be moved to another room & told they were fully booked. came back after errands and the room smelled like weed. the laundry room pics are old and not accurate. this place is a dump at the end of a dark street with minimal parking lot lighting. DO NOT STAY HERE. p.s. i am inclined to not believe the response the hotel has provided as other reviews here, on yelp & on expedia point to this level of filth and disrepair being rule and not the exception.
