The Seattle Marriott Bellevue is generally well-regarded for its convenient location and comfortable rooms, particularly noting a spacious lobby and a decent gym. However, recent reviews highlight significant issues with customer service, inconsistent service quality, and significant operational problems, including valet errors, billing discrepancies, and unresponsive staff. While some guests appreciate the M Club, others find the food selection lacking.

This is a copy of what I wrote to the request for a review after our stay: The people who work at your establishment are all very nice and are doing their best to do their job well, but the systems you have in place are failing them. I swear to god, it's like you don't train them in customer service AT ALL. The front desk clerk said there were tons of rooms open, so we could choose whatever we wanted. This made it sound like no one was staying in the hotel, which was clearly not true and also a dumb thing to admit if it were. No one likes to think they are staying in an empty hotel. The waiter at the restaurant, who was running so ragged he practically threw silverware at us, said he hadn't anticipated being that busy, which is also a dumb thing to say, even if it was true. The tables in the dining room were dirty and worn and looked like they belonged in a Super 8 motel. A tile at the front entrance was loose and popped up each time we walked on it. There were numerous problems with the valet service system. Every time we called down to get our car, the call dropped before we reached anyone or after they answered. The one time we did get through, they said they would have our car waiting for us, but when we got downstairs, it was nowhere in sight. When we asked them about it, they said it would show up, and then we found out they forgot all about it. Shameful, really. I asked a front desk clerk if I could print something out on my computer, and she pointed toward where a printer was supposed to be that I could never find, and when I came back to ask her about it, she was nowhere in sight. It took me almost 15 minutes to print 7 pages. This hotel is supposed to be a 4-star hotel, and it is anything but. We have traveled the world and have never been more disappointed with our stay. Unless something seriously changes on your end, we will never stay at a Marriott again. Seriously, you could do way better than this, but you likely won't because, like all corporations, all you care about is money, not people.

Overall had a great stay, until checkout. We were here for my toddlers surgery at Seattle Children’s hospital. Parking is right down the street unless you choose to valet, we only stayed one night so we didn’t pay the extra $50. Hotel is close to lots of great food, we walked to Din Tai Fung which was about a half mile away. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, my son actually broke some glass in our room and housekeeping was quick to come clean it up and bring us slippers. The downfall is if you leave something behind. I left my brand new kindle colorsoft in the bed in the rush of leaving for surgery the morning of check out, once we got back home that same night, as I was unpacking, I realized I left it behind. I immediately called (mind you, this is the day of checkout) and the front desk was entirely unhelpful. They directed me to report it on a website and gave me their hotel code — said to give them up to two days to get back to me. They wouldn’t transfer me to head of housekeeping to identify who cleaned the room and if they had found anything. Now it’s been days and I’ve just been notified through the website that nothing was found. That’s simply impossible as that’s the ONLY time my kindle was out of the bag. If I had the chance to speak to the head of housekeeping when I first called this could’ve been resolved and felt more personable. Now I’m left without a $300 kindle and a bad taste in my mouth from this hotel.

I stayed here for a business trip. I can't believe this is considered a "4 star" hotel because other than the nice lobby, it didn't feel like it. For $300/night, I expected more. None of the workers offer to help you with your luggage upon arrival. Most of the front desk receptionists had this unfriendly and unwelcoming vibe, sometimes bordering on rude (some were nice, but many appeared bothered to be talking to guests). When checking in my receptionist didn't ask what kind of room I prefer (despite it being a 4 night stay), and put me in a 4th floor room directly facing another building, so no view at all. There are 17 floors and I checked in at the check-in time, so I believe they could've given me a higher floor. Parking is a total rip off, but thankfully I was actually able to park on the street for free every night here with no issue. I just wish the receptionist had mentioned that there is free street parking instead of making it sound like the only option is to pay a ton of money. The room itself was fine but nothing special. No lotion in the bathroom. My biggest complaint was that the shower temperature could not be set to be cold (I like to take cold showers). Also the shower temperature would sometimes not even be consistent. Also I didn't like that the window can't be opened at all. The gym was nice, as was the lobby. One time in the gym though the water was empty and needed to be replaced. Overall it's not a bad place to stay or anything. I just think that for $300/night and being classified as a "4 star" hotel, bare minimum is not having at least half the receptionists with a unwelcoming demeanor, workers standing around the lobby but not offering to help with luggage, lotion in the bathroom, and a shower that's temperature can be turned to cold. The saddest scene for me was when I went to the reception to ask a question. There were two workers - one very friendly, the other not. I asked the friendly one, and she turned to the cold one to ask her the question, and she responded with her cold unwelcoming vibe. I then saw the "In Training" badge on the friendly worker, and it all made sense.

Stayed here not the first time and like this property a lot. Good location to everything and in Walking distance. The Rooms are typically Marriott and provide everything you need. The staff is always very friendly and helpful in this property. The M Club serves good Breakfast daily until 10:00am. Shot out for Mr Richard, he runs the Lounge perfectly even when it is packed. Refill of food items even 5min before closing the buffet.

This has been one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed out. We used it for corporate work travel this week and is definitely NOT a 4 star level hotel. The people at the hotel were nice that’s the positive & that’s it. Rooms were ok ! Clean at least. But bathroom needs upgrade. The breakfast was disgusting!!! me, and my coworker order their breakfast and it was not eatable. The eggs were so chewy dry and did not even taste like eggs. their roasted potatoes that came with the breakfast were black color you can tell they’re using old oil. They were so oily & saggy. $40 for the breakfast. My colleague also cannot eat the breakfast. It was just too disgusting. On top of fact, they’re charging me $300 more of what they should have charged me and I’ve been trying to call and it’s been impossible to speak with someone. Someone that sounds like they are outsource picked up and he was not very helpful at all! He told me that I needed to speak with the front desk about the charge. I told him that’s what I’ve been trying to do, but that their automated system keeps refusing to and keeps trying to send me a stupid text on my text messages and then he started telling me how I should have waited to get front desk option. First of all, there was no front desk option so I selected operator and when I did, the stupid automated service kept telling me that they could resolve the issue for me and they could send me a text when I kept saying no and asking for front desk, it sent me to him and then he started questioning me what did I respond to the machine & said the automated machine gives you other options really!! I was just so annoyed at this point. I told him I just need help and that I don’t need to be questioning about their automated system that I need the front desk and he just give me the same number that I already dialed again & was NOT helpful at all. I called again. I pressed the option for operator because there’s no specific front desk option and just kept ringing and ringing and ringing and nobody ever picked up. I called again and tried requesting billing and an automated message comes up saying that it’s easier if I just email them. To say that I hated this Hotel is an understatement. The people at the hotel were nice but now that I have an issue and I need help nobody can help me. It seems impossible to find someone. My last night there my card was not working. I think it was one of their elevator systems. I ran out of Kleenex in my room, and I thought when I came back from work that it would have been refilled, but nope it was empty. Nobody refilled the Kleenex. It was already almost empty on my first day there. I just let it go I was leaving next day. Also, you can hear everything there was someone next-door to me that kept snoozing their alarm for an hour starting at 5:30 AM until 6:30 AM every morning. I can’t say that I hate this. Hotel is an understatement. I already told my boss and the EA that coordinates corporate stays that we need to stop using this hotel for co-workers .

(four nights stay) Good hotel, a bit expensive. But what spoils the entire experience is their non-communication and service. I have been pre-auth (as it is) 400 USD as deposit. It is now three weeks after my stay, and i still do not have news about my refund. I contacted the manager, who didn't seem to have time to reply to me. This is a huge sum that's blocked, and i feel scammed by that poor service. For this, i would not recommend at all this hotel. Try the other hotels around. (Follow-up) As much as i would like to contact you, the only email i had is the one where the person is not replying. I'd happily welcome any solutions to solve the issue, but i need a working email.

The Bellevue Marriott delivers an excellent experience. The service is outstanding—staff go out of their way to be helpful and welcoming. The rooms are spotless, comfortable, and well-maintained, making it an easy and relaxing stay. One thing to note is that parking is valet-only. They do validate parking across the street, which helps lower the cost, but it’s still pay-on-exit. Not a dealbreaker, just something to keep in mind when planning your stay. Overall, highly recommend for both business and leisure travel.

Self Serve Parking located at Midstation 110 110th Ave NE (1 block from hotel, 1st floor only - requires validation at front desk and comes out to $10 per exit) you're welcome! Hotel is comfy and amenities of bottled water along with empty mini fridge + microwave were welcome. Also has iron + ironing board in room. Bed electrical Outlets include USB (NOT type C). Bed was comfy and room was delightfully cool 68° standard. TV was Netflix enabled. The Bellevue Mall was a ~10 minute walk. Hotel charges for Wifi unless you're a Gold member or above. Photo is of the self Serve parking lot sign.

Really nice hotel. Great location, if your looking for a urban hotel. Valet parking, and a parking garage across the street. Plenty of Uber's available, and walking distance to just about everything you could want to do in Bellevue! Rooms are clean pretty nice. There is also a huge bar at the entrance, where you can unwind and watch sports, if that's your thing. Expensive bar, though. I dont drink, but I wanted an espresso, and it was friggin $9 for a below average cappuccino. Just go to Starbucks for your coffee. Great place, friendly people. Also has very large conference rooms for rent.

9/4/2025 - This Marriott hotel reached to its 10 years milestone in July 2025 with modern design at the lobby, and is a typical Marriott namessake hotel - one of 31 Hotel Brands. However, it does not have a swim pool as well as SPA (whirlpool), which in turn lacks some luxury characteristic. On the other hand, I still enjoyed visiting M Club here, which is the main reason I have been selecting this kind of hotel brand among 31 Hotel Brands. The check-in experience is very good this afternoon, and staff are very friendly. It is worth noting that this Marriott hotel is managed by Marriott directly, which is able to give members a good points resumption at 1 cent per point - Thank you Marriott! The customer service is #1 here, e.g., after I had experienced sleeping issues at a sofa bed tonight, I decided to ask for two Quene beds at the front desk at very late night. Whitney, the check-in staff, was able to find a room for me. It is a day & night difference - I will have a great night sleep- Thank you again, Whitney. Once again, this hotel has a great value (the price and performance ratio) and a great customer service, which outweighs the shortfall of lacking of a pool and SPA.
