This location boasts a prime downtown Bellevue spot with spacious, clean rooms and standout service, particularly from the front desk and bar staff. However, frequent complaints regarding consistent maintenance issues—such as loud HVAC units, malfunctioning elevators, and dirty pools—underscore significant structural and operational problems that outweigh the positives.
I stayed here for a business trip in January 2026. The cleanliness of the room, the location, and the quality of the breakfast (especially the bacon and potatoes) were excellent. However, I have serious concerns regarding their back-office operations, specifically billing management and customer service. After checking out, I requested my receipt (folio) via email for my expense report. Upon reviewing the provided document, I discovered unauthorized charges for a restaurant bill and tip (totaling over $60 including tax) posted to my room. I did not order any alcohol or use the restaurant for dinner, nor did I sign any check for these items. It appears to be a wrong room charge made by another guest. I contacted the Front Office Manager via email multiple times to request an investigation and correction. However, it has been nearly two weeks, and my emails have been completely ignored. It is highly disappointing to experience such sloppy accounting and a lack of customer support, especially since the on-site facilities are quite good. I am currently forced to file a formal dispute (chargeback) with my credit card company. I strongly advise future guests to carefully check every single line item on their folio before checking out and resolve any issues on the spot. (3/6/2026,addition comment) I have received a response from the hotel management acknowledging the issue. I will monitor my upcoming credit card statements, and if the incorrect charges are refunded as stated, I will update this review accordingly.
We booked our stay for two nights with our family friends during our trip to Bellevue and Seattle. Because of business, we stay in hotels frequently and have stayed at multiple brands including Holiday Inn, Country Inn & Suites, Best Western, and Hilton in Toronto, so we are very familiar with hotel policies and service standards. Unfortunately, this experience was disappointing. In the morning, we went for breakfast with our friends and were asked whether breakfast was included in our stay. We were not aware of any special condition regarding breakfast, so we had to go back to the reception desk to clarify. We were informed that breakfast was not included. It would have been much better if the booking process clearly stated that breakfast has special conditions or separate charges. This information should be more transparent at the time of reservation so guests can make informed decisions. The situation felt uncomfortable and avoidable. Clear communication during booking would significantly improve the guest experience.
-Hilton employee Hospitality 10/10, usually when i stay at places, (age
The location is wonderful & the space in the room was amazing. The room layout was also very nice. However, the room upon closer inspection was not very clean. It definitely seemed like some corners were cut on that end. Also, I find it really odd that the bathrooms have sliding glass doors that don’t even close. That’s probably not something particular to this location, but that’s an odd choice for Hilton. All of the guest areas were very nice, but just packed. So, it was hard to enjoy all the amenities. Overall, it wasn’t a bad experience, but it should probably be better for the cost.
We hit our limits with this hotel. I used to live around until recently and we have friends here. There was no reason staying in this hotel but we opted for it because we mistakenly thought it would be nice. We will be back in Bellevue and will definitely avoid Hilton for the following reasons: - ROOM: we got an email promoting for checking in. We tried and got a message its impossible (why even send it???) but we saw even right before checking in at the hotel, which rooms were available. We were checked in by a nice person but we got a random room without being asked for preferences. Our room (536) was one of the worst rooms this place has with a long walk from elevators and view on a wall (not very grateful for that) when other rooms were clearly available! (Srsly? It was pretty mean). The bar: the person at the bar was nice and we went for a beer before heading out. I lived in the elements apartments and always wanted to visit this bar. We ordered charcuterie board for the beer but it arrived too late to enjoy with the beer. No biggie, we just asked for boxes to bring it to the room without thinking. Later on we realized that the apple slices and more importantly crostini were missing (not nice since your cheese was just two types of bland cheese). This experience was the main reason for skipping breakfast and heading for that to farine (do yourself a favor and just go to farine it's bound to be better than here). The pool: one of the reasons we booked this place was the pool. Yesterday and today the Jacuzzi was so chlorinated that it literally hurt (damaged??) our eyes. Today we went with eyes closed (try walking in like this!) which was dangerous but better for eye health. I would like to know how much the person who decided for this level of chlorine can sit there. The pool is also dirty. All hair and a hair gum from yesterday was there still today. Even at apartment building (elements) the pool floor was cleaned every day. Also, I get you save on room cleaning and it's fine but not throwing away room garbage is just another low. Last but not least a pile of garbage welcomed us in front of our room upon checki in.
The nice thing about Hilton properties is you get exactly what you expect. They know who you are, they are very accommodating and helpful. Nice facility, Central to everything downtown Bellevue. Especially Top Pot donuts! ?
Snow flake lane convinced me that this hotel is a top competitor when it comes to hospitality. Rooms are some of the best Ive experienced. Shower & bed definitely a Five Star commodity. Kid friendly. Pool & work out room stellar. But the best part of the stay was waking up to a breakfast buffet!! A great price...only $25, or get eggs your way, three omelet for just $24. 47*North Bistro, worth a visit, even if your not staying in the hotel. Bar & Grill Closes at 10pm.
This was honestly the best hotel experience I’ve ever had. From check-in to check-out, everything was smooth, clean, and incredibly accommodating. The staff truly went above and beyond for us. I asked to move to an upstairs room due to noise, and they made it happen immediately. They even walked to my room late at night to bring new keys and helped move us through several rooms until we found the perfect one. I spoke with three different guest service staff members, and every single one of them was kind, patient, and genuinely caring. I especially want to shout out Saweeta (and I believe Sameeda) apologies if I misspelled!) they were absolutely amazing and so sweet. You can really tell this team puts their guests first. Check-in was quick and easy, the hotel was very clean, and even the housekeeping staff was incredibly friendly. Thank you to the entire team for making us feel so taken care of. I would 100% stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone.
Stayed at Hilton Garden Inn Bellevue for a few nights recently—wow, what a “memorable” Hilton experience! I didn’t know “garden” here refers to the green mold in the bathroom. Checked into my room late at night, and guess what? The shower door was covered in that lovely green stuff (mold, duh) and there were random hairs on the bathroom floor. How thoughtful of the previous guest to leave a “souvenir”! I reported it first thing the next morning, wrote a nice little note for the front desk, and begged them to give the room a proper clean while I was out. Spoiler: when I got back, only the towels were swapped. Nothing else—mold still there, hairs maybe hiding, who knows? I asked again, waited forever, then passed out from jet lag. A housekeeper knocked later, I said “come back soon,” and… crickets. No one showed up. Day two of my stay, I went to the front desk again—smiled nicely, reminded them about the “green decor” in the shower (since I hear moldy hotel rooms aren’t exactly allowed around here). The staff was so “helpful”! They said they’d tell their boss, call me back, and even waive a couple nights’ fees. Cool, right? Wrong. No call, no clean, no fee waiver. Nada. When I followed up, a guy at the front desk said, “Oh, housekeeping’s not my problem”—nice teamwork! I had to hunt down a housekeeper myself from another floor to get someone to my room. Came back hours later, still nothing. Finally, the housekeeper showed up—did the laziest job ever. That “green decor”? Still hanging in there! I emailed three managers nicely explaining everything, and only the GM replied—with zero actual solutions. Love that Hilton level of “care”! If you’re into moldy showers, unfulfilled promises, and staff who pass the buck, this is your dream hotel. For everyone else? Run. Save yourself the hassle (and the mold exposure).
I'm not from the USA and when I stayed ( Sept 27) I borrowed a connector to plug my laptop into the outlet. The receptionist simply said there was no way to help me. I'm surprised how an international hotel chain doesn't have preparation for something so simple. If you are not American and do not have your connector, look for another hotel.
